1. Controller
JO-IN TRADING CO., LTD ("we", "us") is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this online shop (shop.jointrading.biz).

2. What data we collect
- Account data — name, business e-mail address, telephone number, company, and role of the contact persons registered by our business customers.
- Transaction data — orders, quotations, inquiries, shipping and invoicing details linked to your account.
- Correspondence — e-mails and messages exchanged with us.
- Technical data — server access logs (IP address, time, requested page) kept for security purposes.
This shop serves business customers only; we do not knowingly collect data of consumers or minors.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Managing your account and performing our contracts (quotations, orders, delivery, invoicing) — performance of a contract.
- Compliance with legal obligations — bookkeeping, tax and customs record-keeping, export control and sanctions screening (see our General Terms and Conditions, Section 9).
- Securing and operating the website, preventing misuse — our legitimate interest.
- Communicating with you about products, prices, and availability in the course of our business relationship.
4. Sharing of data
We share personal data only where necessary: with carriers and freight forwarders (e.g. courier services) to deliver your goods, with banks to process payments, with our IT service providers, and with public authorities where required by law (e.g. customs, export control). We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Our systems are hosted in the Republic of Korea. Where data is transferred to carriers or authorities in your country in the course of shipping and customs clearance, the transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract.
6. Retention
Account data is kept for the duration of the business relationship. Transaction and accounting records are retained for the periods required by Korean commercial and tax law (generally five years) and applicable customs regulations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent at any time by contacting sales@jointrading.biz. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Security
Access to this shop is restricted to registered business customers. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to personal data within our company is limited to staff who need it for their work.
9. Cookies and local storage
This shop does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only the browser's local storage to keep your login session active; it contains no third-party trackers and is cleared when you log out.
